Installation options

Install zone by zone, your way.

FEC attractions can be installed by our crew, under a Dream Garden supervisor or with remote guidance. The option can differ by zone and is fixed in the contract.

Option 01 · Full installation

Dream Garden installation crew

Our installation team travels to your site, assembles the supplied equipment to the approved drawings and completes the handover checks with your operator.

Best forFirst venues, tight opening dates and complex multi-level structures

Option 02 · Supervision

On-site supervisor, local installers

A Dream Garden supervisor works on site with installers you hire locally, setting out, sequencing the assembly and checking the work against the drawings.

Best forSites with an experienced local contractor or labour-cost limits

Option 03 · Remote guidance

Remote installation guidance

Your team installs using labelled parts, assembly drawings and manuals, with video calls from our engineers at key stages and photo-based checks before opening.

Design & build

More attractions. One connected destination.

A family entertainment center needs more than a collection of attractions. The plan should connect play, social spaces and operational support without letting one activity overwhelm the rest.

01 / Guest experience

Plan for a whole family visit.

Map the journey from arrival and ticketing to play zones, parties and waiting areas. Separate different activity intensities while making it easy for families to find their way and for staff to observe key transitions.

02 / Attraction mix

Choose a mix that fits your audience.

Balance indoor play, toddler activities and selected challenge attractions against the building envelope and operating brief. Consider how guests move between activities, where queues may form and how each zone will be staffed.

Project deliverableAn attraction schedule linked to age groups, available space and the equipment scope.

03 / Coordinated delivery

Bring the separate zones into one plan.

Review equipment interfaces alongside your fit-out, lighting, building services and local consultants. Agree which items Dream Garden supplies and which belong to other project partners, then coordinate the installation sequence.

From first drawing to handover

How an FEC contract runs.

Four stages with one equipment team. Phases, responsibilities and the installation option are agreed before manufacturing.

  1. Client-provided venue plan with building dimensions and site annotations

    Brief & feasibility

Review drawings, clear heights, target users and budget. Confirm what Dream Garden contracts for and what stays with local trades.

    Venue assessment
  2. Top-down playground floor plan showing play zones and circulation

    Design & contract

Agree the 3D layout, theme, itemised scope, site interfaces and installation option before anything is produced.

  3. Playground steel frame during outdoor trial assembly

    Manufacture & ship

Factory production with quality checks and trial assembly, then labelled packing and export logistics.

    Factory & manufacturing

Programme, logistics and the installation option are confirmed for each project. Local building work and specialist approvals remain with the parties named in the agreed scope.

Venue & parameters

Common FEC formats we build for.

Indicative ranges from operator venues we manufacture equipment for. Final layouts depend on the building, the attraction mix and local rules.

Ranges are planning guides, not occupancy limits. Fire code, staffing and local rules set the final capacity.

Choosing a contractor

Why hire a manufacturer as your FEC contractor?

Compare one design-and-build contract with buying the design, equipment and installation from separate parties.

What mattersManufacturer-contractorSourcing separately
ResponsibilityOne team owns the design, the equipment and the agreed installation scope.Design, supply and installation sit with different firms, so interface gaps tend to surface on site.
Design accuracyLayouts are drawn by the people who engineer and build the structures, checked against your columns and clear heights.A concept may need re-engineering once a manufacturer reviews it, adding time and changes.
PricingFactory-direct pricing with an itemised scope, so every item and service is visible.Equipment may pass through resellers, and installation is priced separately afterwards.
InstallationInstalled by our crew, under our supervision or with our remote guidance, using the drawings the factory produced.Installers may meet the system for the first time on site.
After handoverSpare parts, wear items and technical questions go back to the manufacturer.Support depends on which party supplied each component.

Safety & documentation

Documentation for every attraction.

Each zone is documented against the standard that applies to it. Certificates reference tested models, so we match them to the items in your quotation.

Soft play: ASTM F1918 / EN 1176

Test reports and certificate records for the soft-contained play structures in your layout.

Quality documentation

Materials & fire performance

Flame-retardant PVC and foam (B1 / M2 where required), galvanised steel frames and commercial-grade wear parts, specified per project.

FAQs

FEC contractor FAQs

Scope, phasing and installation for multi-attraction venues.

Ask about your site
Are you the general contractor for the whole FEC?

No. We contract for the attraction equipment package: design, manufacturing, delivery and the installation option you choose. Interior fit-out, MEP, fire systems, F&B and permits stay with your general contractor or local partners and are listed separately in the quotation.

Can one contract cover soft play, trampolines and challenge attractions?

Yes, subject to the site review. The activities need suitable separation, supervision, circulation and clear heights, so we design them as one coordinated plan and one equipment package.

Who installs the attractions?

Our installation crew, a Dream Garden supervisor working with your local installers, or remote guidance with drawings and video calls. The option can differ by zone and is agreed in the contract.

Do we need to join a franchise?

No. These pages describe custom project planning and equipment supply. A franchise agreement, brand licence or operating system would be a separate arrangement and is not included automatically.

Can you help with a phased project?

Yes. Share the intended phases at the start so we can review equipment boundaries and access needs, and later work is considered in the initial layout.
