International Media Scrutiny: Welcoming Blooloop to Wenzhou
In June, Dream Garden was proud to host senior journalists from Blooloop—the world’s foremost news authority for the theme park, visitor attraction, and entertainment design industries—at our core manufacturing complex in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province. While international buyers are familiar with China’s status as the global epicenter of playground manufacturing, Western procurement executives frequently ask: What does high-tier, export-grade manufacturing look like behind closed doors?
The visit provided unfiltered access across our 30,000 m² campus: from raw galvanized steel intake and laser cutting bays to clean-room foam upholstery lines and our dedicated pre-assembly trial staging hangar.
Precision Automated Steel Fabrication & CNC Bending
The foundation of commercial playground safety lies in structural steel integrity. During the factory tour, Blooloop editors inspected our automated 3D laser tube-cutting centers, which process standard Q235 hot-dip galvanized steel tubing with tolerances under 0.2 millimeters. By automating the notching and connection hole drilling, every joint locks together precisely on-site, eliminating the need for crude field drilling or torch adjustments that compromise zinc rust-protection layers.
Following cutting, steel pipes undergo shot-blasting surface preparation before entering our high-temperature electrostatic powder coating line. The result is a vibrant, scratch-resistant finish that passes 1,000-hour ASTM B117 salt spray corrosion testing.
Upholstery, Non-Toxic Chemistry & Flame-Retardant Standards
A key focus of the media inspection was material chemical safety. For indoor commercial environments where thousands of young children play daily, soft play foam and PVC upholstery must withstand rigorous toxicology screening. Blooloop witnessed our on-site material testing protocols:
- Flame-Retardancy Verification: Dual testing of high-density cross-linked EPE foam meeting European EN 13501-1 Class B-s1,d0 and American UL94 HF-1 requirements.
- Phthalate & Heavy Metal Screening: Commercial 0.55mm PVC leatherette certified 100% free of lead, cadmium, and banned ortho-phthalates in accordance with EU REACH and US CPSIA guidelines.
- Tear & Tensile Strength Tests: Tensile testers verifying seam resistance exceeding 320 Newtons, preventing foam exposure even under aggressive teenage foot-traffic.
The Pre-Assembly Commitment: Why Every Project Is Built Twice
The highlight of the visit was our dedicated 4,000 m² trial pre-assembly hall. Unlike low-cost factories that pack loose pipes directly into containers, Dream Garden fully erects every complex multi-tier play structure in the factory before export. Blooloop watched our quality control engineers conduct 3D anti-entrapment probe inspections across every slide entry, crawl tunnel, and rope gap, guaranteeing zero installation defects before components are crated for shipment.
