# Frequently Asked Questions About Your Playground Project

Dream Garden / Resources / FAQs

Direct answers first, then the limits and the next step. These answers describe how we work — your quotation and contract always state the final scope for your project.

### Selection & your brief

What information should I provide to get a quotation?

Enough for a first proposal direction: your project country and city, venue type (mall, FEC, park, school…), the equipment direction you have in mind, approximate floor area with units, clear ceiling height for indoor sites, and target age groups.

Drawings, photos, budget and timing help us refine the proposal, but none of them are required to start. The [project checklist](<https://www.toymakerinchina.com/resources.html#project-checklist>) lists everything on one page, and the guide [How to Prepare Your Playground Project Brief](<https://www.toymakerinchina.com/guides/how-to-prepare-playground-project-brief.html>) walks through it step by step.

Can I enquire without a floor plan or drawings?

Yes. A hand sketch, site photos or even approximate dimensions are enough for the first conversation — tell us what you have and mark the rest as unknown.

Measured information becomes necessary before design confirmation: floor area, clear height at the lowest obstruction, column positions, entrances and overhead obstacles. Unknowns never block the first exchange.

### Design

Can you adapt a layout to my space?

Yes. Layouts, dimensions, themes and activity mixes are configured around your floor plan, clear height, columns and age zones rather than sold as fixed one-size models.

Feasibility is reviewed site by site: not every space can host every configuration, and we will say so early if your constraints limit an option. [Browse equipment categories](<https://www.toymakerinchina.com/products.html>) to see typical space needs.

Is design included in the quotation?

Design discussion is part of every project from the start: we review your brief and prepare a layout direction for your venue before production decisions.

The design scope included in your quotation — drawings, revision rounds and related terms — is stated in the proposal before you commit. Confirm it there rather than assuming.

### Quotation & scope

What affects the equipment price?

The main drivers are configuration and size, materials, theming and customization, quantity, destination and shipping terms, installation arrangements and general project conditions.

There is no universal list price — each project is quoted from its brief. Sharing a budget range and currency helps us align the first proposal with what is practical for you.

Are design, shipping and installation included in the price?

Only when your quotation lists them. Every proposal states its scope line by line — equipment, packing, freight terms, installation support and other services — with inclusions and exclusions.

Shipping and installation are not included by default. Check the stated scope before comparing two offers: a lower figure often reflects a narrower scope rather than a lower cost.

### Production & shipping

How long do design, production and shipping take?

Typical ranges: design confirmation often takes 1–2 weeks once site information is complete; production commonly takes 4–8 weeks depending on scope and configuration; shipping time varies by region and route.

These are orientation ranges, not promises — your quotation states the schedule assumptions for your project, including your target opening date.

Which documents can you provide, and what do they cover?

Product certificates, test reports, packing lists and shipping documents are confirmed per product line and destination. Tell us your country early so destination requirements can be checked.

Documentation follows the tested product, not the whole catalog. For example, our April 2024 record lists TÜV Rheinland certificate **AK 60175900** for combination playground equipment, model **DG-2024-3-20**, in the listed configuration; our SGS test reports cover the samples described in each report. Ask which records apply to your selected line — see [quality & documentation](<https://www.toymakerinchina.com/aboutus/quality-documentation.html>).

Who handles shipping, import and customs?

Freight terms and import responsibilities are agreed in the contract — who books freight, which delivery terms apply, and which documents each side prepares.

Destination duties, taxes and local approvals normally stay with the buyer unless the proposal names a different arrangement. Raise your destination’s requirements when you request a quotation.

### Installation

What installation support is available?

Depending on the agreed scope: installation manuals and drawings, video guidance and remote technical support, and on-site installation or engineer supervision where arranged.

Site preparation — foundations, flooring or safety surfacing, utilities and access — is normally a local responsibility and is named in the proposal. Details: [installation & after-sales support](<https://www.toymakerinchina.com/services/installation-support.html>).

Can we use our own freight forwarder or installation team?

Yes — discuss either arrangement before confirming the scope. We coordinate the agreed factory handover with your forwarder and provide drawings, assembly information and guidance for suitable local installers.

Availability and costs for on-site support are confirmed for your location in the proposal.

### Maintenance, spare parts & warranty

How are maintenance, spare parts and warranty arranged?

You receive operation and maintenance guidance at handover. Warranty terms are confirmed per project in writing, and spare parts are requested against your project reference.

Heavy-use commercial venues can agree a spare-parts list together with the equipment order. Coverage, exclusions and support arrangements follow your project agreement — see [installation & after-sales support](<https://www.toymakerinchina.com/services/installation-support.html>).

How do I request spare parts if I don’t know the part number?

You don’t need a part number to start. Send your project reference, a photo of the whole equipment, close-up photos of the part and its fixing points, and the quantity you need.

Our technicians confirm the specification and compatibility before anything is quoted or shipped.

How are spare-parts availability, price and delivery confirmed?

We first confirm the specification, quantity and destination with you, then check stock or production scheduling, and reply with the price, freight and an estimated timeframe.

There is no universal delivery promise for parts — each request is confirmed individually in writing.

Can spare parts be included with my equipment order?

Yes. An initial spare-parts package can be agreed per project — items, quantities, cost and how they ship are listed in the proposal.

Spare parts are not added free by default; agree the package before production finishes so everything can ship together.

## Ask about your project directly

If your question depends on your venue, the fastest answer comes with a few project details — a country and a rough idea is enough to start.
